After an early breakfast in your riad, we will drive you to the pseudo-Swiss town of Ifrane, Ifran which means caves and it is nicknamed in morocco as a little Switzerland since it is a very green town and is a ski resort in the Middle Atlas region of Morocco because of its high altitude at 1665 meters.
Ifran is very knowen as well by The Brotherhood private university, established in 1997 by the king of Morocco Hassan II and the king of Saudi Arabia Fahd.
Where all classes are taught in English It is an international university. your journey continues to stopping at the Cedar forest, the largest one in Morocco, over the Middle Atlas Mountains– where you will have the chance to undertake a short walk into the forest and if you are lucky you will see, and possibly feed, Barbary macaques.

After lunch, your journey continues to visit The first lake Dayet Aoua sits in a natural depression surrounded by hills and is surrounded by orchards. When the lakes are full, the area becomes a natural reserve for many species of birds like kites and kestrels, and waders such as avocets, cattle, egrets, and grey herons. You will also see Dayet Ifrah, one of the largest lakes in the area. Here shepherds set up their own tents on the lake-shore.
